Ghazaleh Tashtarian

Ghazaleh Tashtarian has a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering at the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Tehran, Iran, with a research focus on breast tumor detection. Ghazaleh is also a visiting researcher under the supervision of Professor Omar M. Ramahi in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. During her visiting time, she is expanding her knowledge and contributing to ongoing research projects.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Ghazaleh has been involved in research at the Center of Electro Magnetic Compatibility in the Electrical Engineering department at the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Tehran, Iran since 2021, and she has a particular interest in applying deep learning and machine learning techniques to advance the field of biomedical engineering.
