Aritra is a fourth-year Nanotechnology Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with interests in semiconductor devices, electronics, sensing, and biomedical imaging. His experience includes nanofabrication, thin-film materials, sensor R&D, and electronic characterization, and he has co-authored a published research paper on indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films. He is currently working on an acoustic computed tomography system for bone fracture imaging as part of his fourth-year capstone project. He is particularly interested in developing hardware based technologies that combine electronics, materials, and sensing for real world applications.
